How it works
Launch a coin paired with any coin. Its trades pay a fee in that coin, and its holders get it. Everything below is what the code actually does, with its real numbers.
01
Pair with any coin
Every coin on coinpair trades on a Meteora bonding curve against the coin its launcher picked: SOL, USDC, BONK, a friend's coin. Buying yours means paying in that coin, so every buy of yours is a buy of it.
- It needs a USD price on Jupiter and at least $2,000 of liquidity, so buyers can actually get it.
- Its freeze authority must be off (USDC and USDT excepted): a coin whose creator can freeze accounts could freeze the pool.
- Token-2022 coins are fine as long as they carry no extensions beyond metadata (no transfer fees, no hooks).
- Your curve is sized to the pair: about $4.5K to $65K of market cap when the pair is big enough, smaller for small coins. Graduating never needs more than 8% of everything the pair coin has.
- The first launch on a coin creates its Meteora config (a second wallet approval, about 0.012 SOL). Later launches on the same coin reuse it: one approval.
02
Every trade pays 1%
In the coin you paired with. Meteora keeps 0.2%; of the rest, 80% is the coin's creator share and 20% is coinpair's. coinpair's wallet holds every coin's creator role, so the creator share can only go where the drop engine sends it: to holders, minus the launcher's cut if they chose one (10, 20 or 30%, shown on the coin's page).
03
How a drop works
Every two minutes the drop engine goes through every coin:
- It claims the coin's creator share once it's worth at least $0.50.
- Once the claimed pot is worth $1, it's split across holders by how much each holds: every wallet holding at least 0.001% of the supply, the biggest 2,000. Pools, curves and other program accounts don't count, and neither does coinpair's wallet.
- Each holder's share is added to what they're owed, and sent as soon as it's worth $0.05 (or $1 when they don't have an account for the pair coin yet: coinpair pays the ~0.002 SOL to open it). Small shares are never lost; they wait and grow.
- Drops in SOL go straight to wallets. A wallet that has never held any SOL needs a share of at least 0.00089 SOL first (Solana's minimum for a new account).
- Nothing to stake, nothing to claim, nothing to sign. It just lands in your wallet.
04
Graduation
When a curve has taken in its target, it graduates to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool. All of its liquidity is locked for good. The pool keeps charging 1% in the pair coin, and the coin's locked position earns its share of that, which the engine claims and drops to holders exactly like before. Meteora graduates SOL pairs itself; coinpair graduates the rest.
05
Our coin drops SOL
$PAIRS, coinpair's own coin, is a pump.fun coin paired with SOL. Its creator fees go to the coinpair wallet and the same engine drops them to its holders, in SOL. See our coin.
06
The engine, live
The drop engine writes down every transaction before it sends it, and books what it did only once Solana has confirmed it, so it never pays the same share twice and a crash halfway is finished by the next run. One coin's holders are never paid out of another's: it only sends a coin while the wallet holds everything it owes in it. A recipient that keeps failing is set aside for a day instead of holding everyone else up.

Questions
Do I have to do anything to get drops?
No. Hold the coin. Drops arrive in your wallet.
Why haven't I got anything yet?
Your share may still be under the minimum, so it's waiting (see your wallet's page), or the coin hasn't traded enough to fill a pot. Holders under 0.001% of the supply aren't included.
Can a launcher take the fees?
Only the cut they picked at launch, shown on the coin's page. coinpair's wallet holds the creator role, so no one can redirect it.
Can I see every drop?
Yes. The Drops page lists every delivery with its Solana transaction, and every wallet's page lists what it got.
What are the risks?
Memecoins can go to zero. Drops come only from trading fees: no trades, no drops. If the engine is paused, fees wait in the pools until it runs again.
